Oat Bran Muffins for Breakfast

In Recipes on June 26, 2011 at 6:27 am

I searched practically all day for a recipe for oat bran muffins to have for my breakfast or morning tea. I needed to use the oat bran that I had bought for my attempt at the Dukan diet (I lasted 1 day!)
Also I didn’t have any applesauce or bananas that a lot of the recipes called for. I went through my Weight Watchers magazines and surfed the internet until I found this recipe that I converted in Australian terms and measures. If anyone knows the Weight Watchers ProPoints value please let me know.
My batch cooked for 15 minutes and the smell of honey while they were cooking was lovely. I have just eaten one warm ( in the name of science to see if the recipe worked !) and it was very nice 🙂
I plan to pop them into a freezer bag and freeze, then microwave until warm just before serving.
Also I will double the quantity of ingredients next time I am baking them to double the batch and save time.
